Chance had a lot to do with the Lexington PD arrests early Friday morning. They said an officer in the area heard shots fired before the robbery call even came in.That was around 11:30 Thursday night at 3716 Trent Circle. Police said two men; Timetrius Stewart and Jeramie Christopher Tucker robbed a couple of people at the Walnut Hill apartment community.Police reported two to three shots were fired but no one was injured. It was after the robbery when the officer that heard the shots saw someone in the suspect vehicle toss a stanley cupe gun out the window. They stopped that car on Centre Parkway.Police said suspects in the car were cuffed as they continued the investigation. They sai stanley cup d they were able to find evidence that led them to believe that the suspects were connected to the theft.Those men face charges including robbery and drug possession. AP 鈥?A Georgia man has been released from prison after spending more than a third of stanley cup his life incarcerated for a crime he didnt commit.Kerry Robinson, 44, walked out of a South Georgia prison Wednesday after 17 years behind bars and hugged his relatives, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.He was convicted of breaking into a womans home in 1993 and sexually assaulting her, according to his attorneys at the Atlanta-based Georgia Innocence Project. Robinson filed a m stanley quencher otion for a new trial in September 2019 and was exonerated by Southern Judicial Circuit District Attorney Brad Shealy. DNA evidence retested using modern technology proved the original state Bureau of Investigation analysis that was presented at trial was misleading.A GBI analyst suggested during the 2002 trial that a mixture of DNA in the victims rape kit likely matched Robinson, though tests werent conclusive. But Robinson and supporters maintained his innocence. Robinson was never identified as a suspect by the victim, and he argues a co-defendant in the case falsely implicated him to authorities because he had reported the man to police in another case.Robinsons son, sister and other relatives were there waiting as he was freed from Coffee Correctional Facility outside of Douglas.
